Here's a short series on math-based Thanksgiving foods. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=F5RyVWI4Onk&list=PLaNzoFtkQ7... It's hard to know where to stop recommending Vi Hart projects, I find them consistently cool and fascinating, so I'll just mention her blog http://vihart.com/ and Patreon https://www.patreon.com/vihart

HN discussionReminds me of VI hart and her anti pi agenda. She made a video explaining how to get your followers passionate about your ideas (in this case pi< tau). Its sort of tongue in cheek but it makes some points about social media and the ability of it to influence people. http://vihart.com/tau-day-2018-suspend-your-disbelief/

HN discussionCoincidentally, I just submitted a story to HN from another mathematician, artist and maker, which you might enjoy: http://vihart.com/blog/mobius-story/ It's an absolutely extraordinary video (watch closely!), and anyone who can create stuff like this will be able to do whatever they want. HN discussionWoo, I love it. I wondered if something was up ever since they collaborated on a video about scale: http://www.khanacademy.org/video/vi-and-sal-explore-how-we-t... In hindsight, it looks suspiciously like the practical problem-solving part of an interview. Vi seems like a well-rounded addition to Khan Academy: She makes videos and also does great hands-on educational inspiration with her artist-in-residence stints a…

HN discussionVi Hart has a few interesting videos on infinity: "Proof some infinities are bigger than other infinities" (w/ Cantor's diagonal proof) https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=lA6hE7NFIK0 "How many kinds of infinity are there?" (a very good list including surreals, P-adic, the long line, others) http://vihart.com/how-many-kinds-of-infinity-are-there/ Also, I support her suggestion in "Infinite Trees Are Super Weird" that si…
